How our combined treatment plan works
During your free consultation, your Doctor will assess your existing hair loss, taking a comprehensive history and performing a dermoscopy (microscopic imaging of your skin and follicles) of your scalp.

Based on this individual consultation, we will develop a bespoke treatment plan for you, including suggesting nutritional supplements changes and tailored hair-care regimes to maximise your hair restoration results. Our treatment programs usually involve a selection of the following approaches. An individual plan will be tailored to your needs.

1. PRP Scalp Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy can be beneficial for treatment of some types of hair loss in both men and women. It is most commonly used for treatment of male and female pattern baldness. Our hair PRP treatment involves state of the art centrifugal separation from your own blood, utilising a double spin for extremely concentrated PRP. This contains active growth factors which can promote hair growth. Helping to restore natural looking hair, the end result is a fuller, healthier looking head of hair. With a thin needle, using a mesogun to minimise pain, your own PRP is injected into the scalp. Then the growth factors in your blood cells do their job and hair growth is naturally stimulated. Platelet Rich Plasma has been shown to be especially useful for treating many types of baldness, particularly in combination with medication, see below. The PRP procedure is especially useful following hair transplantation surgery. Many hair transplantation centres send patients to us following surgery. PRP can help speed up the healing process, enhance the results and maintain your hair growth.

2. Scalp Mesotherapy

This treatment involves the injection of vitamins and minerals and hair grows stimulators essential for hair follicle and rejuvenation and growth into the scalp next to hair follicules. We use a meso gun to minimise the pain of the procedure. Hair mesotherapy can be used as stand alone treatment or in combination with other treatments.

3. Oral Medication for Hair Rejuvenation

Oral medication such as Propecia or Finasteride often used to help to restore hair. Other medications can also be prescribed to treat hair loss. As part of our approach your medications will be integrated into your Hardwick Clinic treatment regime if appropriate.

4. Topical Preparations for Hair Rejuvenation

In addition to the above treatments there are a number of topical medications that can be applied directly to the scalp. These treatments can improve hair growth, maintain existing hair and can prevent hair loss.

5. “Polynucleotides” for Hair Restoration

This is a relatively new treatment for hair restoration used both in men and women. It can be used as standalone treatment or as part of a more advanced treatment plan. Polynucleotides that are used in hair and skin restoration are DNA fragments extracted from the fish. These DNA fragments demonstrated restorative and healing properties in different parts of the body including hair follicles. To achieve the best possible results usually 4-8 treatments is recommended.

6. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

We use medical-grade LLLT (low level laser therapy) devices. These devices are FDA approved, clinically tested and validated for hair loss (alopecia), hair restoration and for healing, recovery and enhancement of hair following hair transplantation. LLLT is a useful method for treating hair problems in both men and women. This approach is very safe and effective.

7. HydraFacial Keravive

At Hardwick clinic, we offer the HydraFacial Keravive treatment to deeply cleanse and nourish the skin of the scalp, for better scalp health and a greater chance of retaining the hair and even stimulating new hair growth.
Very much like the facial treatment, HydraFacial Keravive uses patented vortex technology to extract oil, dirt and debris from the scalp and to remove impurities from the hair follicles. This action helps to re-stimulate circulation. The Keravive treatment then infuses a proprietary blend of skin proteins and growth factors, which are 30 times stronger than PRP and other scalp infusions.
