This is the most commonly used dermal filler. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin and is responsible for attracting water. HA filler is used to reduce appearance of both fine and deep lines, replace lost facial volume and to create structure and shape. HA dermal filler can be safely used around the eyes, neck, hands or many other parts of the body. The effects are immediate, and it can be completely dissolved if needed. Results last between 6-18 months.

This works in 2 stages. The gel part of the filler provides an immediate “filling effect” while PCL particles stimulate collagen production over the course of a few months. Overall, this type of filler is great for ageing skin and for those looking to achieve more natural results. PCL is not suitable for the under-eye area, lips or the nose. Results are instant but further develop over the course of 12 weeks. Overall, final results last for up to 18 months.

This dermal filler is known to provide very natural antiaging results and is especially good for the hands and neck. It works in two stages. First, upon injection the gel in which CaHA particles are suspended provides an initial “filling” effect. Then CaHA particles which integrate into the skin start to initiate the stimulation of collagen production and regeneration of skin which provides a further rejuvenative effect. This produces immediate effects which further improve over time. The results last for up to 18 months.
Sadly, we have many clients who have come to us with unsatisfactory results from other clinics. We are able to offer a procedure that allows for hyaluronic acid based fillers to be dissolved. Any area of the body can be treated, full reversal is usually achieved within 48hrs of hyaluronidase treatment. This procedure is both safe and effective. The Hyaluronidase enzyme will break down the filler which will then be slowly and naturally cleared from the body.
Although there is limited evidence and only a very small number of cases, there is a risk of inflammatory reactions and soft tissue swelling in patients who have previously had soft tissue fillers, or plan to have treatment, after receiving COVID-19 vaccination.
Do not undergo soft tissue filler procedures within 2 weeks of your planned vaccination date or within 3 weeks having received it.
Do not attend for treatment if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or are suffering from ongoing symptoms from previous infection.
If you develop any reactions following your treatment, it is imperative you contact your healthcare practitioner at the earliest opportunity. If you develop any reactions following your treatment, you may require medication to manage the complication. This may include oral steroid medication which may lower your immunity to COVID-19 if you have recently been vaccinated.
