As part of our comprehensive approach to weight management, we are now able to offer a more insightful way of looking into physiological reasons that can contribute to your weight gain, difficulty losing weight or the state of your nutritional wellbeing.
Everyone is different and your genetics and lifestyle can have an enormous impact on how your body metabolises nutrients and stores fat.
Poor eating habits for a number of years may have created vitamin deficiencies or hormonal imbalances that make losing weight even harder. At Weight Loss Club™ we want to provide a full holistic approach to sustainable weight-loss. We believe it is important to understand your physiology and health when designing a weight-loss program specifically for your needs.
Better understanding of your physiological wellbeing and physical health will allow us to make more informed choices about the weight-loss plan that will work best for you.
In addition to our baseline physical health evaluation, completed as part of our initial assessment at the first meeting, we are also able to offer wellness screening. This involves having a blood test to explore the levels of vitamins, minerals and hormones in your body and comparing them to normal physiological levels. The tests we can perform include:
These tests are not a compulsory part of the Weight Loss Club™ program. Your doctor will discuss whether or not such tests may be useful for your own program.
If tests are requested, we will take samples from you and order confidential laboratory tests, from fully accredited laboratories, to give you results as soon as possible. We can then advise you on: vitamin supplementation, fitness programs or nutritional changes that will benefit you given your results.
The results of these tests can greatly assist our doctors in choosing both the right medications and nutritional plans to maximise your weight-loss.
Additional treatments may be available. For further details about this and other procedures, please contact us for more information.
