This tablet contains Naltrexone and Bupropion, both of which are known to reduce appetite and craving for food. Together, they are a powerful and effective weight-loss and maintenance treatment. Mysimba can also be used longer-term. This medication is especially useful for people who struggle to control their eating patterns and cravings for food. Also sold as Xenical. Occasionally, we prescribe this medication, which binds to and blocks some of the fat that you eat, preventing it being absorbed. Also sold as Tenuate. Our Doctors use the 75mg slow-release tablet for this medication. This is only licensed to be used short-term. We usually use this medication to kick-start your weight-loss journey. This medication is a powerful appetite suppressant. Hence, it is extremely useful for intensive weight-loss programs, such as those with significant calorie defecits with associated hunger. Also known as Suprenza, Adipex, Zantryl or T-Diet, it has been around since 1959 and is one of the oldest weight-loss medications. Its action is very similar to Diethylpropion (above).
