COVID-19 Policy

Due to the ongoing public health crisis and taking recommendations from the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) and government guidelines we will be operating on a strict triage policy.

We will only be able to see patients who can answer no to all of the following questions:

  • Are you currently suspected of having COVID-19?
  • Have you been in contact with or are living with someone suspected or confirmed of having Covid-19?
  • Do you have a fever, or have you had a high temperature in the last 14 days (a fever is a temperature
  • greater than 37.8°C?
  • Have you had a cough or any other respiratory signs in the last 14 days?
  • If the the NHS has identified you, or a person you care for, as someone at risk of severe illness if you catch corona virus (Covid-19), you must follow any specific advice that has been given to you about whether or not it is safe to attend the clinic.
  • Otherwise, you should always be complying with government advice.

This checklist applies up-to your appointment. If any of these situations arise, you should let us know and not attend your appointment.

On the day of your appointment

  • Attend your appointment unaccompanied.
  • Upon arrival, you must wash your hands.
  • Please limit the wearing of jewellery. Wedding rings may be worn provided hands are kept clear from the face. Minimal make-up should be worn.
  • Please limit the personal possessions you bring with you. The clinic may reserve the right to prevent personal items entering the treatment rooms.
  • When the treatment is complete, you must wash your hands once more.
  • Follow the markings in the waiting area and clinic to ensure 2 metres distancing at all times, except when undergoing treatment.

Precautions in place at Hardwick Clinic

We will be following safe practice guidelines for the current situation. This includes, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), sterilisation of the treatment areas before and after treatment and social distancing between patients and staff. Please bear in mind that the extra preparation time between patients and the extra precautions in place will limit the time available.

Wheelchair Access

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a wheelchair accessible entrance.

If you have not seen our Doctors before or are having a new treatment then Free Consultation should be booked. You may then decide whether to have the treatment at that time, or later.
